Cycling Without Age in Victoria

Cycling Without Age works to improve the lives of seniors and adults living with disabilities by promoting intergenerational relationships and opportunities to connect with neighbours, nature and fresh air.

Cycling Without Age Victoria launched on May 29th, 2017 during Bike to Work Week.  Established by volunteers Marleen Butchart, Kristi Owens, and Carson Sage, Victoria was the sixth chapter in Canada and the first in British Columbia!

As of 2020, Broadmead Care operates two trishaws for residents and clients of Beckley Farm Lodge and Nigel House. Victoria’s third trishaw is operated by Mount St Mary’s Hospital. Contact Volunteer Services at Broadmead Care or Mount St Mary’s Hospital if you’d like to volunteer as a pilot or companion.
